About the Role
Do you take pride in keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly? Love being out and about, meeting people, and making a real impact in your community? Then this could be the perfect role for you.

At Peabody, we’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Estate Services Caretaker to help us keep our estates looking their best. From lighting checks to cleaning communal areas, you’ll be the friendly face residents rely on to keep things spotless and welcoming.

Your typical day will include starting with a lighting check—swapping out any bulbs that need replacing, rolling up your sleeves to carry out cleaning duties across your designated areas, working closely with your team and residents to keep things running smoothly and safely, and being a visible, approachable presence on-site throughout the week.

You won’t be stuck behind a desk—you’ll be out on site, making a real difference every day. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values your input and provides the tools you need to succeed, including a company van to help you get the job done.

Plus, once employed at Peabody, you can refer friends to any of our roles and receive £250 when they start!

About us
We're at a particularly exciting point in our story: Catalyst joined the Peabody Group as a subsidiary on 1 April 2022, and should fully merge in April 2023. The new organisation will be responsible for 104,000 homes, with 220,000 residents across London and the South East of England. By joining together, we’ll go further and faster with our plans to improve our services, invest in our homes and communities and create innovative solutions to the challenges of carbon consumption and building safety. If you join us you'll be part of something special: fulfilling your ambitions and working with people who truly care. We offer great opportunities to develop and grow and a range of flexible benefits. You'll also have the chance to work with colleagues who want to help people make the most of their lives.
