About the Role

As a Neighbourhood Manager, you will be the face of Peabody in your designated neighbourhood, working closely with residents and colleagues to support tenancy management, wellbeing, and community safety. You will be at the heart of your community, providing a visible and approachable presence, with your photo displayed locally so residents know exactly who to turn to for support. Your role will involve a variety of activities including welcoming new tenants, attending Residents’ Association meetings, inspecting estates alongside Repairs or Estates Services teams, and supporting vulnerable residents. You will actively engage residents in managing their homes and neighbourhoods, developing and improving services to meet their needs.

Your typical day might include:
- Welcoming new tenants and helping them settle in
- Attending Residents’ Association meetings to listen and respond to local concerns
- Inspecting estates with colleagues from Repairs or Estates Services
- Supporting vulnerable residents who need assistance

You will create and deliver costed Neighbourhood Plans to improve satisfaction and performance, carry out estate, scheme and property inspections, champion customer engagement, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build safe, inclusive, and vibrant neighbourhoods.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within housing management and preferably in the social housing sector
- Knowledge of tenancy and leasehold management and enforcement, including safeguarding

Qualifications
- Prepared to undertake a Level 3 qualification in Housing Management if not already held
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required
- This role requires a Basic DBS check
