Description
There are two full time positions available for this post. One will be responsible for the coordination of lived experience practitioners in the four Integrated Community Pathway Services (ICPS) across London, and the second will focus on the Womens Pathway, Housing and Accommodation Service and Work Force Development. Post Holders will work towards the development of the London Community OPD Pathway Lived Experience Practitioner Model. This will involve leading on the training and development of Lived Experience Practitioner and Peer Support Workers on the Pathway, delivered by people with direct lived experience who are trained to work within our organisation. They work alongside professionals to contribute to the development of the service (consultation, training, research, interview panels, project development etc) or in engaging other service users within the pathway. It is vital that the Post Holder has some direct lived experience and also considerable experience of managing lived experience roles. They will work with all stakeholders, including the third sector, to promote improved quality of life for service users through new insights and perspectives. They would promote advocacy and the voice of the service user throughout the service. They project manage a variety of work streams that underpin the Lived Experience model, ensuring that practice in each locality is co-ordinated and supported. The Post Holder will also need to gain the skills required to participate in Quality Improvement [QI] to ensure we provide care of the highest quality. They will be involved in QI as both a leader and participant in QI projects.
