1. The appointee will be expected to work flexibly to support the department in delivering exceptional care to adult patients undergoing a wide range of procedures at both the Chelsea and Sutton sites (including the Oak Cancer Centre), in line with established guidelines and policies. This may include weekend operating lists.2. This post includes an on-call commitment of 1:203. Paediatric sessions would be desirable, depending on the skills of the appointee.4. Attendance at departmental education and governance meetings is expected, as is a commitment to education and training of junior staff.5. The appointee would be expected to participate in Continuing Medical Education to the level required by the Royal College of Anaesthetists.6. The appointee will be given adequate time to take part in required audit activities.7. Participation in annual appraisal and appropriate preparation for revalidation by the GMC is required.
