About the Role
The job plan is anticipated to contain 8 Programmed Activities (PAs) per week on average to be carried out on Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust sites and includes on-call commitments. The job plan will be negotiated between the consultant and their Line Manager/Clinical Director at least annually for permanent or extended posts.

Direct Clinical Care Activities include holding a number of Paediatric Plastic Surgery outpatient clinics per week, assisting in the management of Paediatric Plastic Surgery trauma patients/cases, offering to cross cover theatre and procedure room lists when other consultants are on annual leave, and helping work through the current waiting lists with the current group of surgeons. You will also develop some one-stop treatment clinics and support the needs clinics for children in the transition age group, conduct routine ward rounds, and lead a teaching ward round with junior staff.
