About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and multi-skilled Night Shift Handyperson to join the facilities team supporting the Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust healthcare estate. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of fabric, plumbing, basic mechanical, and general building maintenance tasks to ensure the hospital environment remains safe, compliant, and fully operational overnight. While mainly site-based at Highgate, there may be occasional requirements to attend nearby satellite sites using a pool vehicle to respond to urgent maintenance issues during the shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual looking to develop their facilities or engineering career within a critical healthcare environment.

Experience
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyperson, or technical facilities role
- Competent across general fabric maintenance, basic plumbing, and minor mechanical repairs
- Comfortable working independently during night shifts
- Able to work professionally within a live healthcare setting
- Basic IT skills and confidence using CAFM or job-logging systems
About you
