About the Role
Are you passionate about unlocking the power of mathematics for young people? At Lift Kingswood, we are dedicated to inspiring curiosity, resilience, and confidence in every learner. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Maths Teacher to join our team, bringing both expertise and energy to the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive, forward-thinking environment that values ambition, creativity, and excellence.

Lift Kingswood is a national beacon of educational excellence. Our students perform well above the national average across all subjects, placing the school as one of the highest performing in the region. We are proud of our recent Ofsted report recognising our Outstanding provision for personal development, behaviour and safety, and leadership and management. This reflects the relentless dedication, hard work, and ambition of our entire school community. The inspection also highlighted our exceptional achievements in fostering a rich, dynamic learning environment where both pupils and staff thrive.

Candidates are encouraged to view this post as a three-year development pathway to the next stage of their career rather than a traditional 'Teacher of Maths' role. Our innovative and dedicated training and CPD at Lift Kingswood is exceptional. We invite you to discuss your career aspirations with the Principal and shape the next three years of your professional journey.

Lift Schools is a diverse and inclusive network of 57 schools with a clear mission: to provide an excellent education to every child in every classroom, every day. We empower our team to do their best work, supported by outstanding leadership.

We offer career development and training through a wide range of statutory and developmental programs, including our partnership with One World and Ambition Institute's Early Career and NPQ offerings. Our generous benefits include pension plans, healthcare, financial support, and lifestyle perks such as discounted gym memberships, travel deals, and electric vehicle incentives.

The role is due to commence January 2026, with an earlier start date negotiable.

Closing date: 9th October 2025

Lift Schools is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We follow a fair and consistent recruitment process in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance, including online checks for shortlisted candidates. All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check.

We embrace diversity and promote equality of opportunity. Job share, part-time, and flexible working opportunities will be considered. We are a Disability Confident Employer with a guaranteed interview scheme for candidates with disabilities who meet the minimum selection criteria.
