Working closely with project and functional leaders, you will drive commercial excellence, maximise value and ensure successful project outcomes across a highly complex delivery environment. Leading a team of commercial professionals, you will champion best practice, develop commercial capability and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and high performance.
This is a rare opportunity to play a defining role on a landmark infrastructure programme that will leave a lasting legacy on the UK's transport network.

- Lead procurement activities including tender evaluations, negotiations, subcontract award recommendations and sub-subcontractor recommendations
- Manage subcontractor performance, payment mechanisms, variations, change control and final account settlements
- Support project delivery teams in identifying and mitigating commercial risks and maximising opportunities
- Produce, review timely and accurate cost reporting, forecasting and financial performance data
- Assess and report on commercial performance, escalating issues where appropriate
- Drive operational efficiency and identify areas for continuous improvement
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including clients and supply chain partners
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes engagement, accountability and high performance across the project team
This position is a senior commercial leadership role within the MEP project delivery structure and wider Old Oak Common commercial team. You will lead the commercial management of complex MEP packages, ensuring robust control of cost, value, risk, change and subcontract performance. You will lead, manage and develop the MEP commercial team, ensuring clear objectives, capability development and effective performance management.
