About the Role
Amazing infrastructure isn’t the only thing that gets built here. Incredible careers do too. Join our Enabling Functions team as a Risk Systems Analyst and build something to be proud of. You’ll play an important role in supporting and improving our risk management systems, data and reporting capabilities. Working closely with Group Risk, business risk champions and IT development teams, you’ll use data and technology to help the business better understand its risk exposure. You’ll analyse risk and control information, identify emerging trends and provide insights that support effective risk monitoring and decision-making. Acting as a key link between Risk and Technology, you will translate business requirements into system improvements and support testing, issue resolution and the ongoing development of risk management tools.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a key interface between Group Risk and IT Development teams, supporting requirements clarification, issue resolution, testing and prioritisation of system enhancements.
- Maintaining and improving monthly risk reporting, ensuring stakeholders and business risk champions have access to clear and meaningful information.
- Supporting the ongoing development of the Risk Library to improve identification and understanding of core and common risks.
- Analysing realised risk data to identify patterns and insights, helping the Group Risk team better understand future risk exposure and strengthen the internal control environment.
- Identifying emerging risk trends to support half-year and full-year reporting and help maintain the Group Risk Profile.
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide greater visibility of changing risk exposure.

Experience
- Supporting business systems or applications, including requirements analysis, issue investigation and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Experience using Power BI and SQL to analyse data and produce clear, meaningful reporting is desirable.
- Strong data analysis, reporting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex information into actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build effective working relationships across Risk, Technology and wider business teams.
- A good understanding of risk management principles and their application within a business environment.

Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications or experience in risk management, data analysis or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
