Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience building production software in Python
- Experience with FastAPI or a similar web framework
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on production experience using SQLAlchemy/PostgreSQL
- Professional experience with Docker
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design
- Proficient with Git and standard version-control workflows in a team environment
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles

About you
- Proven track record of shipping and owning features in production
- Clear communicator able to explain technical decisions and collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy, critical for outputs feeding into regulatory filings

Qualifications
- Professional experience mentoring junior engineers on Python best practices and software design is desirable
- Nice-to-have skills include hands-on experience with ClickHouse or other columnar/OLAP databases, experience with Go or Rust or strong aptitude to learn quickly, and experience processing large volumes of data through complex pipelines
