Hours
Field-based role with approximately 60% of time spent on-site within the community. Flexibility required to respond to customer and service needs. Participation in an out-of-hours emergency rota is required.

£41,107 per annum

About the Role
As a Neighbourhood Manager, you will be the face of Peabody in your area, delivering excellent housing management services and working closely with residents to create safe, well-managed and welcoming neighbourhoods. This varied and rewarding role involves building strong relationships with residents, community groups, local authorities and internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and deliver positive outcomes. Your responsibilities will include delivering a high-quality neighbourhood and tenancy management service, managing tenancy matters, safeguarding concerns, anti-social behaviour cases and neighbourhood issues. You will carry out estate inspections, welcome visits, resident engagement activities, viewings and sign-ups of new tenancies. Supporting vulnerable residents and coordinating appropriate support with specialist teams will be key, alongside promoting resident involvement and shaping local services through community feedback.

Experience
Experience delivering excellent customer service in housing, community services or a similar environment. Experience working with residents, stakeholders and partner organisations is essential.

Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and work independently. Flexibility to work on-site and participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota.

Qualifications
Knowledge of housing management or UK Housing Law is desirable. A housing qualification such as CIH/CIOH is desirable or willingness to work towards one. Knowledge or experience of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) would be advantageous.
