We're looking for TWO compassionate and proactive Mental Health Support Workers to join our Islington team, helping customers build the skills, confidence and resilience they need to lead fulfilling lives. This is a rewarding role where you'll support people on their journey towards greater independence, working in a person-centred, recovery-focused and trauma-informed way. From helping customers manage their tenancies and finances to supporting their wellbeing and future aspirations, you'll play an important role in helping people flourish.

As a Support Worker, you'll work closely with customers to deliver tailored support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes. You'll also:
- Complete needs and risk assessments, support plans and regular reviews.
- Build trusting relationships – helping customers develop essential life skills, including budgeting, money management and maintaining a home.
- Support customers to sustain their housing and plan for their future accommodation needs.
- Encourage customers to take an active role in their recovery, wellbeing and personal goals.
- Work closely with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure customers receive the right support.
- Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding, welfare and risk concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to achieving service objectives and performance targets.

Additional Information
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check and participation in an on-call rota. Interviews will be held in person on the 7th and 8th of October at our Canonbury Lane location.

Requirements

Experience
Experience of support planning, risk assessment and working with vulnerable adults, with an understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and equality, diversity and inclusion.

Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering excellent support. Kind, empathetic and genuinely motivated to improve people's lives. Customer-focused and an effective communicator who can work confidently with customers, colleagues and external agencies. Resilient and adaptable, with a positive approach to challenges. Confident to lone work where required and contribute positively within a team environment.

Qualifications
A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 2 or above) or a willingness to work towards one.
