Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 17:30pm - 05:30am. Flexible working hours across all shifts to cover absences and take control of both shifts.

Following the combination with Bakkavor in January 2026, Greencore is one of the UK’s leading creators of convenience food, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots in the UK and US. Our Warrington site is a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit producing high quality Italian ready meals for Tesco and Co-Op.

Due to development and growth, we are recruiting a Night Hygiene Co-ordinator reporting to the Hygiene Zone Manager (HZM) to support the Hygiene Department. This role is predominantly factory floor based and involves supervising, monitoring, and reviewing the Hygiene Team’s performance to ensure manufacturing facilities meet food safety and company hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with the HZM to assign duties, ensuring hygiene staff adhere to shift times and working time directives, supporting training and development of hygiene operatives, conducting hygiene audits, maintaining hygiene standards during production runs and changeovers, and managing training records. You will also take on the Hygiene Zone Manager’s role in their absence and coordinate the hygiene team using the master schedule.

The role requires continuous review of procedures and training programs, ownership of the site NH audit schedule, and ensuring all non-conformances are addressed with appropriate retraining.

Experience
Proven hygiene experience within a food manufacturing or similar environment is essential. Previous experience managing or supervising a team is required.

Qualifications
Relevant hygiene or food safety qualifications are advantageous but not explicitly stated. Training will be provided on the job and through effective presentation style sessions.
