About the Role

The Trust is home to the largest dental school in Europe and a £160 million Cancer Centre. It also includes Evelina London Children’s Hospital and has one of the largest critical care units and busiest emergency departments in the UK.

This role requires autonomy, innovation, and a problem-solving mindset.

The postholder will manage imaging setup for new clinical trials, facilitate regulatory submissions, liaise with modality superintendents to assess capacity and capabilities, and ensure all applications are signed off by the R&D Theme Lead. They will also manage the collection of reports for REC submissions, develop systems to improve access to clinical trial and patient information within Imaging, and act as the key communication link between Oncology and Haematology Clinical Trials and Imaging departments to ensure imaging complies with clinical trial protocols.

Additional responsibilities include providing technical assessments of imaging capabilities to trial sponsors, producing reports on clinical trial activity, anonymising and transferring patient scans, arranging international shipment of scans and samples, and managing pathology research sample requests including verification, preparation, documentation, and dispatch.
