About the Role

The OHCT Imaging and Pathology Coordinator will work closely with the OHCT Portfolio Manager, OHCT team, and Imaging/radiology departments to ensure timely, responsive, and reliable imaging for Oncology and Haematology patients recruited into clinical trials. This role requires autonomy, innovation, and a problem-solving mindset.
The postholder will manage imaging setup for new clinical trials, facilitate regulatory submissions, liaise with modality superintendents to assess capacity and capabilities, and ensure all applications are signed off by the R&D Theme Lead. They will also manage the collection of reports for REC submissions, develop systems to improve access to clinical trial and patient information within Imaging, and act as the key communication link between Oncology and Haematology Clinical Trials and Imaging departments to ensure imaging complies with clinical trial protocols.
Additional responsibilities include providing technical assessments of imaging capabilities to trial sponsors, producing reports on clinical trial activity, anonymising and transferring patient scans, arranging international shipment of scans and samples, and managing pathology research sample requests including verification, preparation, documentation, and dispatch.

Experience
- Experience working with or within Imaging departments
- Working knowledge of different imaging modalities
- Experience with clinical trial setup processes
- Experience within a clinical research environment
- Excellent computer literacy including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases

Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences or related field OR relevant experience
