We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Pharmacy Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our OHCT Pharmacy team. This exciting role supports a large and complex portfolio of commercial and non-commercial oncology and haematology studies, including early- and later-phase clinical trials. The post holder will lead the coordination and processing of clinical trial amendments and support the delivery of robust, Good Clinical Practice (GCP)-compliant quality systems.

Working closely with Pharmacy, Research and Development, King’s Health Partners Clinical Trials Office, research teams, and sponsors, you will ensure amendments are assessed and implemented safely, efficiently, and within agreed timelines. You will also contribute to audit and inspection readiness, staff training, incident and risk management, equipment assurance, performance monitoring, and continuous service improvement.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and play a key part in improving the quality and performance of a busy and innovative clinical trials pharmacy service.

Experience
- Previous experience in clinical research within Academia, Clinical Research Organisations (CRO), Pharmaceutical Companies, or Healthcare organisations
- Proven experience collaborating with research agencies such as NIHR, RDN, MHRA
- Experience in Clinical Trials management at site and sponsor level within NHS and/or academic environments
- Desirable: Experience with large research-focused organisations, GCP governance, NHS Research Ethics related to Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs), line management, EPIC EPR and Edge database usage, and knowledge of NIHR/RDN grant issues

Qualifications
- Essential: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or equivalent
- GCP certification from a reputable organisation (e.g. NIHR, RDN, ICH)
- Desirable: Post Graduate Qualification in Clinical Research Delivery
- Willingness to work towards UK-recognised clinical research or pharmacy qualifications (e.g. ACPT, GPhC registration) if not already held
- QCF Pharmacy Services Level 3 (NVQ Level 3) plus accredited underpinning knowledge (BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent) or equivalent
