Working 12-hour shifts, you will help keep our plant running safely and efficiently by:
- Monitoring, controlling, and optimising plant processes using the Distributed Control System (DCS), quickly identifying and resolving issues to maintain performance
- Operating and maintaining water tube boilers, including water analysis, chemistry monitoring, and ensuring optimal operation
- Performing system isolations safely when required to protect people, plant, and the environment
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, environmental legislation, and all operational protocols during normal running, start-ups, shutdowns, and emergencies
- Carrying out regular checks, fault diagnosis, and supporting safe, reliable energy generation from waste

Experience
- Experience in energy recovery, power plants, waste-to-energy, or similar industrial processes is essential
- Knowledge of boilers, combustion, process control, and relevant health & safety and environmental legislation
- DCS system operation experience is desired but not essential; training will be provided where needed

Qualifications
- Preferred: BOAS Cert IBO and/or IOSH Working Safely qualifications; if you do not have these, support will be provided from day one to obtain them
