Description
Communication Communicate the MDT outcomes to referring clinicians and primary care providers. Respond to requests for MDT information over the telephone and via Trust email and nhs.net. Handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy. Communicate with internal clinical teams and management. Develop working relationships with a wide range of clinical and managerial staff. Data collection and analysis: Responsible for collecting and updating patient information on the relevant databases in line with local policy, to ensure efficient pathway progress. This includes maintaining the accuracy of data at all times. Working with the management and clinical teams to collect necessary data in order to improve performance with national Key Performance Indicators for Major Revision Centres. Policy development Review and support development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures. Review and support development and implementation of internal targets. Staff Management Providing support for day to day queries from other administrators and allied health care professionals Ensure administrators are fully adhering to the appropriate Trust policies and protocols. Identify training and development needs of staff, taking these forward where appropriate. General Responsibilities Use initiative and work without direct supervision, as well as to use relevant information technology to facilitate the performance of tasks. Participate in annual appraisals and performance reviews. Identify personal development needs. Attend training and development as required. Help provide cover for the other departmental administrators during busy periods, sickness and annual leave and where there is an imbalance of workload. Support the Trust in providing the best experience possible for each of our patients. To maintain confidentiality in respect of information obtained at all times
