We are seeking a Patient Flow Co-ordinator to join the Cancer Data Team. In this role, you will lead the tracking of pathways for patients suspected or confirmed to have cancer, working closely with the MDT Clinical Lead, Pathway Manager, and Service Managers. Your efforts will help ensure timely treatment for cancer patients and support the achievement of national cancer targets.
The post holder will provide high-quality, patient-focused administrative support across multiple Trust-wide specialties and assist with MDT functions on a day-to-day basis. This role offers the opportunity to directly improve cancer patient care by monitoring and reviewing treatment progress, identifying pathway improvements, and collaborating with clinical teams.

Experience
- Previous experience delivering high standards in a fast-paced, high-volume customer care environment.
- Administrative experience.
- Desirable: Experience working in a hospital or care setting.

Qualifications
- Essential: GCSE or equivalent including Maths and English (C grade or higher).
- A-levels, HND or equivalent relevant experience.
- Desirable: IT qualification/training such as European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary staff.
- Experience in data collection, presentation, report writing, and handling data quality issues.
- Desirable: Knowledge of medical terminology, NHS administrative experience, and understanding of cancer waiting times and their application.
