As a Patient Pathway Coordinator within the Evelina London children’s admission department, you will play a key role in coordinating the care pathways for children admitted for surgeries and procedures. You will work closely with clinical and managerial teams to ensure patients receive timely treatment and national targets are met. This role also involves leading service improvement projects within the Paediatric admissions team.
The post holder will provide professional, patient-focused administrative support across multiple Trust-wide specialties, ensuring theatre lists are fully utilised and scheduled in advance. You will be responsible for monitoring patient pathways, liaising with clinicians, managing referrals, and supporting the smooth running of the admissions service.

Experience
- Significant proven experience delivering high standards in a fast-paced, high-volume customer care environment
- Ability to manage a range of issues independently and efficiently
- Proven administrative experience
- Experience of an administrative role within the NHS is desirable
About you
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to handle difficult service users and challenging situations professionally
- Demonstrable experience in data collection, presentation, report writing, and managing data quality issues
- Understanding of peer review and governance processes and knowledge of medical terminology are desirable
Qualifications
- Good general education with English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Educated to diploma level or NVQ 3, City and Guilds Certificate level in business administration or equivalent
- Evidence of formal further training through short courses and experience of a range of administrative practices
- IT package qualification/training (e.g. European Computer Licence) and customer service qualifications/training are desirable
