As a Planning Enforcement Officer, you will be part of a team responsible for investigating and resolving alleged breaches of planning control through negotiation and/or the service of planning enforcement notices, with follow-up of legal proceedings as appropriate. You will work within a vibrant and busy Development Management Service, contributing to the realisation of sustainable growth embedded in high standards of design and maximising social, economic, and environmental benefits.

The successful candidate will undertake regular site visits and be expected to attend the office a minimum of two days a week. Ability to drive and access to a car is essential.

Requirements

Experience
General understanding of town planning legislation is required. Experience working under pressure, managing demanding caseloads, and meeting strict deadlines is essential.

Qualifications
