To work as a skilled member of the corporate education team, to provide a high standard of education and support to all learners including Newly Qualified Nurses, Health Care Support Workers, Nursing Associates, Student nurses etc. Promotion of various NHS roles to schools and colleges, participating in careers fairs as appropriate To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team To be able to provide first level pastoral care to all learners in practice Support the Education team in maintaining policies, standards of nursing care and staff development To use sound project management approaches to ensure that projects and programmes are monitored and well managed working with high attention to detail and preparing data on activities associated with the role To respond to queries from stakeholders both internally and externally via a variety of methods ensuring a high quality of customer service is maintained at all times To work with autonomy, prioritise effectively and use initiative to deliver to target, problem solving issues as they arise and communicating effectively with managers to ensure appropriate and timely solutions To demonstrate leadership, and professional conduct at all times in line with the organisations values and behaviours and to work flexibly to support the delivery of business objectives Flexibility is a necessity to meet the demands of the department and the post holder will sometimes be required to work outside of normal rota hours including weekends Have significant knowledge of Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment
