About the Role
Join Infosys Consulting, a globally renowned management consulting firm recognized for innovation and excellence. As a Principal Consultant in the Utilities Practice, you will lead client interactions and workshops, engaging senior stakeholders to drive complex programmes and projects within a multi-vendor environment. You will guide your team to solve ambiguous problems and technical challenges, enabling large-scale organisational change and impact.
You will build your personal brand through thought leadership in your areas of specialisation, mentor and develop consultants within the Utilities practice, and contribute to firm and practice development through innovation and learning activities. Supporting the leadership team on bids and pursuits, you will also foster strong client relationships and promote the Infosys brand and offerings.

Experience
- Extensive experience in the utilities industry across sectors such as Electricity, Water, and Gas
- Knowledge of the Retail, Transmission & Distribution value chain within utilities
- Experience across B2C and B2B segments
- Familiarity with functional domains relevant to Utilities including CRM, EAM, FSM, ETRM, SCADA, GIS, Energy Management systems, and emerging technologies such as Solar, E-mobility, hydrogen, and energy storage
- Understanding of cloud technologies, data solutions, and business application products relevant to the Utilities industry
- Broad business skill set including analytical and problem-solving capabilities and stakeholder management
- Proven ability to gather, validate, synthesise, document, and communicate data and information for diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, Agile ways of working, and best practices

- Outstanding communicator, adept at engaging senior stakeholders
- Ability to assess client situations and recommend transformation strategies and thought leadership
- Self-starter capable of leading workshops, working within matrix team structures, and assuming front-end client roles
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development, creating commercially viable consulting offerings, and driving these to market
Qualifications
Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience in consulting or utilities sector preferred but not mandatory. Strong emphasis on demonstrated expertise and leadership capabilities.
