About the Role
This is an exciting time to join the Commercial Delivery team at Croydon Council, working across a programme of Transformation initiatives including corporate priorities, as well as supporting the Croydon Town Centre Regeneration Programme. These workstreams will deliver a range of commercial projects across the borough, alongside diverse regeneration projects improving the public realm, highways, and community activation to deliver social and economic impact.
As Programme Manager, you will report to the Commercial Development and Delivery Services Programme Director and support the Town Centre Regeneration Programme Manager and wider programme teams. You will collaborate with Project and Regeneration Managers, Heads of Service, Council departments such as Finance and service teams, as well as suppliers and funders.
Your role will support the governance required to deliver the programme, with opportunities to implement incremental improvements in governance processes. Key day-to-day activities include secretariat support, project reporting (Verto), action tracking, maintaining risk and issue registers, and document management.
This role offers the chance to shape how Croydon delivers its housing investment, ensuring residents benefit from safe, high-quality homes and services. You will be part of a professional, supportive team driving real impact for local communities.
