About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Radiotherapy/Proton Beam Therapy Quality Assurance Administrator to provide full administrative support to the Radiotherapy/PBT Quality Manager. You will actively maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System, undertake internal quality system audits, clinical audits, and service evaluations. This role supports the department during inspections, external audits, and accreditation processes. You will contribute to the Cancer Division Audit Programme by undertaking audits and assisting the designated clinical audit lead in delivering this programme. Additionally, you will support the Macmillan Information & Support Radiographers in developing and producing departmental patient information leaflets and booklets.
The role involves data entry onto clinical systems, including inputting and amending data in the planning database and ARIA, as well as running reports from departmental databases, ARIA, and Epic. You will run reports and collate data to monitor Key Performance Indicators as required within service specifications, reviewing performance data, trends, and processes. Using statistical analysis and judgement, you will identify and propose opportunities for development and improvement. You will also participate in tracking and monitoring compliance against relevant national targets.
Preparation of quality reports for presentation at Trust meetings, radiotherapy network meetings, NHSE level meetings, and meetings with the PBT private provider will be a key responsibility.

Experience
Experience in administrative support within a clinical or healthcare setting is desirable, particularly related to quality assurance, audit, or radiotherapy services.

Qualifications
Relevant administrative or healthcare qualifications are advantageous but not essential. Training and support will be provided to maintain ISO 9001:2015 standards and audit procedures.
