About the Role
As an R&D Governance Specialist, you will be an experienced line-manager with excellent communication skills, capable of supporting world-class researchers and influencing those you work with and manage. You will demonstrate a highly organized and methodical approach to your work, effectively project managing service improvements while supporting and developing junior team members. Your pragmatic and solution-focused mindset will be essential in setting up research studies. Attention to detail and strong writing skills will enable you to convey complex regulations into simple guidance for researchers and training materials for R&D staff. The successful candidate will possess significant experience working in an R&D department within the NHS or a university, along with in-depth knowledge of the HRA and NIHR's latest strategic developments and the approval processes for clinical research in the UK. Please note that interviews will be held in person at Guys Hospital.

Experience
