About the Role
Join our team as a Re-engagement Employment Advisor and make a real difference in people's lives by supporting their journey back into the workforce. You will play a pivotal role in the Restart programme, a mandatory DWP initiative aimed at empowering individuals who have been out of work for at least 12 months. Your mission will be to reignite participant engagement and guide them towards sustainable employment aligned with their skills and aspirations.

As a catalyst for change, you will use curiosity, imagination, and tact to navigate a fast-paced and evolving environment. You will build positive relationships with participants through a blend of remote and face-to-face support, leveraging digital platforms to recommend job search activities and foster community and industry connections.

You will partner with participants to create tailored action plans, identify career opportunities, address barriers, and provide guidance on issues such as debt, mental health, and career coaching. Additionally, you will offer industry-specific training and development to equip participants with the necessary tools for success in sectors like retail, manufacturing, and contact centres.

Experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Performance target-driven experience
- Welfare to Work experience is desirable
- Knowledge of the local labour market and stakeholders
