Salary
Non-technical: £26,984 per annum
Single fuel: £38,453 per annum (full time, within the M25)
Single fuel (3 phase/CT): £40,492 per annum (full time, within the M25)
Dual Fuel: £44,126 plus £2,000 attendance and safety bonus per annum (full time, within the M25)
Dual Fuel (3 phase/CT): £45,177 plus £2,000 attendance and safety bonus per annum (full time, within the M25)
Note: Candidates joining on a non-technical or single fuel basis will be required to upskill to dual fuel, with training provided. Salaries stated apply during initial training and increase upon full qualification.
About the Role
At M Group Energy, we deliver essential infrastructure services across electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation. As part of the Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, you will help ensure customers are billed correctly and energy usage is monitored efficiently.
In this role, you will investigate, detect, and prevent gas and electricity theft in residential and commercial properties. You will ensure installations are made safe and collaborate with suppliers to determine further actions. Collecting evidence and providing information to clients will be key to deciding next steps.
You will also be involved in debt recovery activities, which may include installing SMART meters or de-energising/disconnecting supplies.

This role offers clear career progression. Previous experience as a Revenue Protection Officer or in conflict management is helpful but not essential. The company provides full training on revenue protection, conflict management, and upskilling to become a qualified dual fuel engineer.

Experience
- Strong customer service background with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Previous experience in revenue protection or conflict management is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications
