About the Role
Our Risk division develops comprehensive processes to monitor, assess, and manage risks that may adversely impact the firm. Risk professionals execute critical day-to-day risk management activities, lead projects, and contribute to advancing a robust risk management program. Effective coordination with executive management, business units, control departments, and technology is essential for success.

The Counterparty Credit Risk - Funds team manages the firm's credit exposure to trading and lending counterparties, ensuring exposures remain within the firm's risk appetite. This role involves evaluating derivatives and financing transactions, assessing the creditworthiness of hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds through fundamental credit analysis, and approving transactions while ensuring appropriate risk mitigants are in place.

This position offers a challenging, varied, and multi-dimensional work environment ideal for collaborative individuals with strong ethics and attention to detail. Responsibilities include conducting counterparty reviews, recommending internal risk ratings, setting risk appetite limits, and supporting management and regulatory interactions.

Requirements

Experience
3-6 years of experience in a market-facing or risk role (1st or 2nd line) preferred. Strong knowledge of capital markets, including derivatives and funding products, is required. Experience managing junior team members is preferable.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred. CFA designation is advantageous.
