The Credit Risk team works closely with the Chief Risk Officer and senior management to protect the firm’s capital by making informed decisions aligned with the firm’s risk appetite. With a global presence of over 300 professionals across 11 offices, Credit Risk offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in risk management while working on complex financial transactions.

Key responsibilities include assessing the credit and financial strength of corporate borrowers and counterparties through fundamental credit analysis, supporting the review of lending and underwriting transactions such as LBOs, M&A, and relationship lending, and contributing to sector analysis to monitor portfolio concentrations and trends. You will collaborate with Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Legal, Operations, and Compliance teams to support derivatives business approvals, ensuring appropriate documentation, limits, and risk mitigants.

Additionally, you will analyse risks inherent in lending, trading, and derivative products and support relationship management across various firm divisions including Asset Management, Global Markets, Treasury, and Technology.
