About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Road Safety Auditor / Road Safety professional to join WSP's Liveable Places team, supporting a varied project pipeline across London and the South-East regions. Your role will include undertaking Road Safety Audits as a team member, working on Vision Zero and Road Safety projects including collision data analysis, designing road safety schemes, and delivering strategies and action plans based on the Safe System approach. You will prepare reports, sketches, schedules, and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance. Managing project finances, programmes, and deliverables will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with clients and other WSP teams, supporting a wide range of projects suited to your skills and experience. The Liveable Places team works with local authority clients across the UK to help achieve place-making ambitions, delivering schemes from concept to delivery including public realm, traffic engineering, transport planning, road safety, traffic signals, pedestrian and traffic modelling, active travel, and parking. This role offers excellent career development opportunities through exposure to diverse projects and a pivotal role in supporting and steering the growth of the Liveable Places team.
Experience
Qualified Road Safety Auditor in accordance with DMRB GG 119. Experience in road safety, collision data analysis, and mitigation of issues. Familiarity with Vision Zero and the Safe System approach. Experience managing projects including financial aspects and mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications
