We have an opportunity for a Road Safety Auditor / Road Safety professional to join WSP's Liveable Places team and support a varied project pipeline across London and the South-East regions. As a Road Safety Engineer / Auditor, your role will include undertaking Road Safety Audits as a team member; working on Vision Zero and Road Safety projects including collision data analysis, designing road safety schemes, and helping deliver strategies and action plans based on the Safe System approach. You will prepare reports, sketches, schedules, and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance, manage project finances, programmes, and deliverables, and collaborate closely with clients and other WSP teams. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of projects suited to your skills and experience and the chance to work collaboratively within the Liveable Places team and the wider WSP business to achieve shared aims and objectives.

About the Liveable Places Team
The Liveable Places team works with a wide range of local authority clients across the UK to help achieve place-making ambitions. We deliver schemes from concept to delivery including public realm, traffic engineering, transport planning, road safety, traffic signals, pedestrian and traffic modelling, active travel, and parking. Recent key successes include projects with Gloucestershire County Council, West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Council, West Berkshire Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, West of England Combined Authorities, Devon County Council, National Highways, Westminster City Council, and many others. The team comprises over 200 enthusiastic and skilled staff across the country, with further growth planned. Experience
Qualified Road Safety Auditor in accordance with DMRB GG 119. Experience in road safety including mitigating issues and analysing collision data. Understanding of Vision Zero and the Safe System approach. Experience managing projects including financial aspects and mentoring junior colleagues. Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications
