About the Role
This is a new and exciting opportunity to support the leadership of the English department at Lift New Forest, a successful and friendly school in the Waterside area of Hampshire. As Second in English, you will work closely with the Head of English to lead and develop the department, ensuring our ambitious English curriculum delivers exceptional outcomes. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of the Key Stage 3 mastery curriculum and contribute to our goal of 90% of students achieving a good pass in English and Mathematics by 2028. This role offers a platform for further professional progression within Lift Schools, an ambitious multi-academy trust of 59 schools known for excellent training and career development.

Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong track record of improving pupil outcomes in English. Experience in leadership or supporting curriculum delivery is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
