About the Role
We are excited to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Teacher to join our Learning Support Team, providing high-quality teaching and support for students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) across the school. As part of the team, you will ensure students with SEN, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), receive targeted intervention and support across the wider curriculum. You will collaborate closely with subject teachers, families, and external professionals, and have the opportunity to act as an academic tutor and mentor for Key Stage 5 students. We welcome candidates confident and flexible in subject teaching, ideally with direct experience in STEM subjects.

Requirements

Experience
Qualified Teacher status with experience of, or a strong interest in, supporting students with Special Educational Needs. Experience or knowledge of the AQA Unit Award Scheme or similar accreditation pathways is advantageous.

About you
Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a genuine passion for inclusive education are essential. You should be confident and flexible in subject teaching, ideally with STEM experience. You must be an effective team player with a positive attitude and the ability to inspire both students and staff.

Qualifications
Qualified Teacher status is required. Additional qualifications related to SEN support or accreditation schemes are desirable but not essential.
