We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join the IT Clinical Systems (ITCS) Directorate within the Community team. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying enhancements to existing clinical systems, ensuring solutions are safe, effective, and aligned with clinical and operational needs.

The Senior Analyst will work closely with end users to analyse change requests, facilitate discussions, and build consensus on clinical workflow changes. Responsibilities include planning, configuration, testing, and validation of software upgrades and enhancements, maintaining system integrity and reliability.

This role supports a portfolio of Epic and non-Epic solutions critical to multiple digitised services across Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital, and soon Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for digital systems, an understanding of clinical workflows in acute and community settings, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Working within a fast-paced, innovative team, you will collaborate with external stakeholders to review, design, configure, test, and deploy clinical content within Epic, support end users with issue resolution, and contribute to optimisation projects and software upgrades.

Experience
- Proven experience in a clinical environment delivering clinical care or significant experience in a clinical analyst role within a systems development environment, preferably NHS or healthcare related
- Healthcare system design and configuration experience
- Experience interpreting business and clinical requirements and assessing impact on IT services
- Experience documenting and mapping workflows and clinical analysis
- Ability to produce high-quality work under aggressive timescales
- Desirable: Experience in change management relating to clinician-business process-risk management and solution capabilities

About you
- Strong aptitude for digital systems and problem solving
- Understanding of workflows and processes in acute NHS Trust and community settings, especially community workflows
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines and maintain strong relationships with end users and internal teams
- Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely in potentially contentious situations
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage change pragmatically and effectively

Qualifications
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Post-qualification Masters degree or significant healthcare experience equivalent to Masters level
- Evidence of further clinical training in a specific clinical field
- Accreditation in at least one Epic module
- Evidence of configuration expertise in an enterprise solution
- Desirable: ISEB Business Analysis Diploma, PRINCE2© Foundation

Additional Information
Applicants without current Epic certification will be required to undertake and pass an online Epic Sphinx assessment as part of the interview process.
