About the Role

Following a detailed review of the Trust's Clinical Coding Service, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the department for full-time, ACC qualified, Senior Clinical Coders, with enthusiasm and motivation to join our extremely busy Clinical Coding Department. The post holder will have responsibility for the clinical coding of all acute specialties, by abstracting clinical data from the patients' records and translating it into diagnostic (ICD10) and procedure (OPCS) coding classifications. With a flexible approach to work, the post-holder will work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. A good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential as is a good standard of education. Experience
ACC qualification is required. A good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential.
