About the Role
This fellowship post offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and visionary team within the NHS, focusing on advanced microsurgical services for severe male factor infertility. You will be involved in joint multidisciplinary clinics with the Guys Assisted Conception Unit, a leader in infertility treatment and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). The role includes providing a regional microTESE service for fertility preservation in cancer patients, particularly those with testicular cancer, across the Anglian supra-regional germ cell tumour network. You will also participate in supra-regional Joint Sickle Cell/Urology clinics in collaboration with the Haematology department for patients experiencing recurrent ischaemic priapism. The position is designed to prepare you for consultant practice by addressing the expanding clinical and academic needs of the service, offering outstanding training in Surgical Andrology and Reconstruction. You will join a specialist team comprising 2 Consultants, a Deanery appointed SpR, and an Andrology Clinical Nurse Specialist, and will be expected to deliver general and emergency urological care in line with departmental operational principles.
Experience
Previous experience in Urology is essential, with a strong interest in andrology and infertility.

You are a dedicated Urologist eager to become a clinical expert in andrology, infertility, and genito-urethral reconstruction. You possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a relevant medical degree and have completed appropriate training in Urology.
