About the Role
This Senior Clinical Fellow position offers a diverse and challenging workload in general (core) urology, including TURBT, TURP, and inguinal-scrotal surgery. You will be involved in the management of stone disease with procedures such as flexible ureteroscopy and laser stone treatment. The role also includes managing benign prostate disease with techniques like bipolar TURP, Rezum, and Urolift. You will work within an established urinary continence service that provides intravesical Botox injection and PTNS, supported by dedicated specialist continence and urodynamic nurses. Additionally, you will contribute to improving bladder cancer diagnosis and treatment, including performing trans-rectal prostate biopsies at both UHL and QEH sites.
Experience
Proven experience in core urology procedures including TURBT, TURP, and stone disease management is essential. Experience with benign prostate disease treatments and continence services is highly desirable.

You are a motivated and skilled urologist with a strong commitment to patient care and multidisciplinary teamwork. You have excellent clinical and procedural skills and are keen to contribute to service development and improvement in bladder cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold appropriate postgraduate qualifications and be eligible for clinical practice within the NHS. Specialist training or equivalent experience in urology is required.
