About the Role
At Burberry, we believe creativity opens spaces. Our purpose is to unlock the power of imagination to push boundaries and open new possibilities for our people, our customers and our communities. This core belief has guided Burberry since 1856 and remains central to how we operate today. We provide an environment where creative minds from diverse backgrounds thrive, bringing a wide range of skills and experiences to everything we do. As a purposeful, values-driven brand, we are committed to being a force for good, creating the next generation of sustainable luxury, driving industry change and championing our communities.
We are hiring a Senior Communications Manager to shape and lead Burberry’s earned media strategy across EMEIA. Based in London, you will guide our regional communications team and agency partners, bringing global brand moments to life with cultural relevance and creative precision. You will strengthen Burberry’s visibility and influence across key markets while building meaningful relationships with media, partners and internal teams. This role combines strategic thinking, creative judgement and operational leadership within an iconic British luxury brand.
Your responsibilities will include shaping and delivering the EMEIA communications strategy across campaigns, product launches, events, talent moments and special projects; leading and developing the London-based regional communications team by creating clear priorities and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment; guiding agency partners across Paris, Milan and Dubai to ensure consistent messaging, effective planning and strong delivery; leading regional editorial collaborations, media partnerships and events from strategy through execution and evaluation; building trusted relationships with editors, stylists and media partners while adapting global communications materials for regional audiences; and overseeing press office operations, assessing communications performance and turning media insights into clear actions that support brand and commercial priorities.
Experience
Substantial experience delivering fashion or luxury communications, including responsibility for regional strategy, teams or markets. Strong knowledge of the EMEIA media landscape with established relationships across relevant press and stylist communities. Proven experience guiding internal teams and international agency partners with clarity, care and accountability. Demonstrated record of developing strategic communications campaigns and evaluating their impact through meaningful measures.
About you
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with sound creative judgement and a deep understanding of luxury brand-building. Professional fluency in English is required. Additional language skills in French, Italian or Arabic are welcomed but not essential. You are a collaborative leader who fosters an inclusive environment and builds strong relationships internally and externally.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in communications, public relations or related fields are preferred but not mandatory. Burberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
