About the Role
The Disabled Children’s Service is an engaging and dynamic service currently undergoing a transformation focused on improving outcomes for disabled children in Redbridge. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Family Support Worker to join our Early Help/Short Breaks Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering families and creating positive change by delivering tailored support that meets the unique needs of each family. Your work will include providing crucial guidance to parents and ensuring children have access to opportunities that foster their development, making a lasting impact on the lives of disabled children and their families.

Experience
Proven experience working with disabled children and their families, ideally within a social care or early help setting. Experience supporting families through complex needs and transitions is essential.
About you
Passionate and committed to improving outcomes for disabled children and their families. Able to work collaboratively with a range of professionals across health, education, and social care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and empower families. Flexible and adaptable to cover additional duties such as supporting the MASH worker when required.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in social care, health, or related fields are desirable. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training is expected.
