About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. As a Senior Finance Business Partner – Digital, you will drive the delivery of effective financial management, control and advisory support for the Digital business unit and projects/contracts. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will identify financial risks and opportunities, manage budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, and develop multi-year technology financial plans. Monitoring operating expenditure (Opex) and capital expenditure (Capex) against approved budgets, you will provide accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end forecasts.
In addition, you will produce insightful financial reporting for technology leadership, analyse variances against budget, forecast and prior year, identify cost-saving initiatives and efficiency opportunities, and develop KPI and dashboard reporting to support informed decision-making. You will review and challenge business cases for technology investment, support governance processes for digital transformation programmes, ensure benefits tracking and post-investment reviews are undertaken, and monitor achievement of approved business case benefits.
Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and governance requirements, you will support audit activity and control reviews, identify and mitigate financial risks associated with technology programmes, and ensure appropriate treatment of project and capital expenditure.
