Your responsibilities will include preparation and reviewing of reports such as desk studies and site investigation specifications, interpretation of site investigations and production of ground investigation reports (GIR). You will be involved in the design of foundations including pad, raft, piled raft and piles, as well as detailed design of basements. You will conduct ground movement assessments to determine the impact of construction works on tunnels (BT, LUL, RMG), masonry tunnels (NR, City of London), masonry viaducts (NR) and more, using Plaxis 2D and 3D for analysis models. Additional duties include building damage assessments on third party structures and production of interpretive monitoring reports.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar geotechnical engineering role is essential. Strong knowledge of theoretical soil mechanics is required. Experience with numerical analysis and numerical analysis software packages is beneficial. Proficiency in Plaxis software is preferred.

Qualifications
