Main Duties and Responsibilities We need the successful candidate to be able to: Obtain and document observations and escalate these as needed. Chaperon clinicians and assist doctors in performing procedures (such as punch biopsy or bone marrow biopsy). Work harmoniously with the team. Be flexible and can work in inpatient setting when needed. Undertake certain procedures such as ECG recording, urine dip and blood sugar taking and recording. Work in phlebotomy after having the appropriate training. Escort patients and families to other departments within the hospital as required. Participate in maintaining standards of hygiene, cleanliness and infection control, and orderliness of the OPD. Assist with the care of distressed or unwell patients.
