About the Role
Are you a strategic HR leader ready to partner with C-suite executives and shape organisational transformation? Veolia is seeking an exceptional Senior HR Business Partner to be the trusted strategic advisor to our Municipal Business Unit, driving business growth through innovative people solutions and transformational leadership. This is not your traditional HR role—it's a strategic partnership opportunity. You will work directly with Municipal Senior Leadership Teams to solve complex business challenges, drive organisational capability, and embed a high-performing culture. You will own the complete people agenda and directly influence business strategy and growth.

Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with business leaders on critical matters, providing strategic HR solutions and medium to long-term support
- Acting as a trusted coach and advisor to Senior Leadership Teams, offering professional challenge and strategic perspective
- Leading talent mapping and succession planning to ensure robust development and mobilisation of top talent
- Supporting delivery of the people strategy aligned with business objectives and growth
- Reviewing leadership capability gaps and driving growth and capacity building within the Business Unit
- Driving workforce planning initiatives aligned with Veolia's future vision, maximising capability and efficiency
- Leading annual pay and bonus cycles, objective setting, and performance development processes
- Delivering critical people and HR projects with measurable impact on engagement, retention, and performance

Requirements

Experience
- Proven leadership skills in senior HR roles including people management
- Experience in workforce planning within large, complex matrix organisations
- Demonstrable success in improving employee engagement and creating high-performing cultures
- Experience mobilising teams to deliver multiple strategic and high-profile initiatives
- Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to board-level executives and Senior Leadership Teams
- Ability to utilise data to inform strategic decisions

- Proactive and forward-thinking mindset, able to anticipate future challenges and act accordingly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to influence decisions

Qualifications
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent (preferred)
