About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy Development Management service within the largest London borough by area. Bromley offers a diverse range of landscapes and development challenges, from urban regeneration and town centre growth in the north to extensive Green Belt and rural areas in the south. We are seeking a highly organised, self-motivated Senior Planner with proven experience managing a varied caseload. The successful candidate will assess complex householder applications, Lawful Development Certificates, and minor planning applications, ideally within a local authority environment. The role involves working on a broad range of varied and challenging planning applications and pre-application enquiries, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use development proposals. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning outcomes, providing excellent customer service, and helping to shape the future development of the borough.

Working Pattern
Hybrid working with 2 days per week office attendance

Requirements

Experience
Proven ability to manage a varied caseload including complex householder applications, Lawful Development Certificates, and minor planning applications. Experience within a local authority environment is desirable.

Qualifications
