About the Role
Are you passionate about preventing homelessness and making a real difference to residents’ lives? We are seeking an ambitious, innovative and customer-focused Triage & Prevention Officer to join our front-line homelessness prevention and housing options service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering early intervention, prevention, and housing options. You will play a key role in shaping service delivery, driving continuous performance improvement, and ensuring residents receive timely, effective support to prevent homelessness and secure sustainable housing solutions.

Working closely with senior managers, partners, and stakeholders, you will help deliver the Council’s homelessness and rough sleeper strategy and wider transformation programme, ensuring excellent outcomes for residents and value for money for the Council.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in homelessness prevention, housing options, or a related customer-focused service is desirable. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment and deliver high-quality outcomes is essential.

You should be able to work collaboratively with senior managers, partners, and stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives. Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in housing, social care, or a related field are desirable but not essential. A willingness to engage in continuous professional development and training is expected.
