About the Role
Are you passionate about preventing homelessness and making a real difference to residents’ lives? We are seeking an ambitious, innovative and customer-focused Triage & Prevention Manager to join our front-line homelessness prevention and housing options service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering early intervention, prevention, and housing options services. You will play a key role in shaping service delivery, driving continuous performance improvement, and ensuring residents receive timely, effective support to prevent homelessness and secure sustainable housing solutions.

Working closely with senior managers, partners, and stakeholders, you will help deliver the Council’s homelessness and rough sleeper strategy and wider transformation programme, ensuring excellent outcomes for residents and value for money for the Council.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in managing front-line homelessness prevention or housing options services is desirable. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, deliver performance improvements, and work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders.

You are ambitious, innovative, and customer focused with a strong commitment to preventing homelessness and supporting vulnerable residents. You have excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a complex and changing environment.

Qualifications
Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience in housing, social care, or related fields are desirable but not essential.
