About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference for pupils with complex special education needs and disabilities (SEND) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)? Bromley’s Inclusion teams are seeking an outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support the education of complex SEND and PMLD children within the borough.

You will join a small, dedicated team working alongside wider teaching teams to help children and young people access education in challenging circumstances. Working closely with the Service Lead and another HLTA, you will deliver tailored, home-based and short-term educational packages for children and young people with PMLD, ensuring their individual needs are met while permanent provision is secured.

You will be confident in overseeing and delivering personalised home education for pupils with complex SEND and PMLD, creating and adapting specialist short-term educational packages, and supporting assessment and resource development.

Experience
Experience working with complex SEND and PMLD children is essential. Proven ability to deliver personalised educational support in challenging circumstances is highly desirable.

Qualifications
Relevant HLTA status or equivalent qualification is required. Additional training or experience in SEND and PMLD education will be advantageous.
