About the Role
As the UK’s communications regulator, Ofcom delivers vital work to make communications work for everyone. The Spectrum Group sets the long-term strategy for spectrum use in the UK, enabling access to wireless technologies such as TV, mobile, satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and drones. The Space Spectrum Authorisation and Policy team supports innovative services in satellite, drones and maritime sectors through policy, regulatory and licensing roles.

Key responsibilities include leading policy thinking on wireless developments, managing policy projects autonomously, collaborating across Ofcom to deliver joined-up policy, drafting consultations and decisions, representing Ofcom externally, and contributing to innovative spectrum management approaches.
