If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We are seeking a talented, experienced and ambitious Senior Practitioner to join our Permanency team at Bromley and be part of the Fostering South East Hub.

The Fostering South East Hub is a collaborative initiative involving Supervising Social Workers from the London Boroughs of Lewisham, Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich and Southwark. Bromley is committed to making children and young people its top priority. Our services for children and families have recently been rated Outstanding by Ofsted. We are three years into our Service Transformation programme, focused on placing children and families at the centre of everything we do. Our Corporate Strategy, 'Making Bromley Even Better', reflects our commitment to improving the lives of children and young people so they can thrive in families that flourish.

The successful candidate will join a warm, friendly and enthusiastic team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families in the borough.

The post holder will undertake a range of assessment work including Connected Persons, Special Guardianship, Form F and Non-Agency assessments. They will also provide Supervising Social Work support to temporarily approved carers. The role requires home visits, attending in-person meetings and events, as well as office-based work.
