About the Role
Keywords Studios is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Privacy Manager to join its Global Privacy & AI Governance team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Privacy & AI Governance. This high-impact global role leads the Privacy Operations function and drives key elements of the Global Privacy & AI Governance program across 70+ studios in 25+ countries. You will play a pivotal role in delivering data protection and responsible AI practices across global service lines, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels and directly managing and mentoring the Privacy Manager and Senior Privacy Analyst. Your expertise will support implementation and management of privacy and AI governance workflows, provide strategic guidance on privacy and AI laws and regulations, and work closely with senior leaders to identify and mitigate business risks. Additionally, you will oversee day-to-day data protection and privacy matters across all business units and act as a registered Data Protection Officer (DPO) in certain jurisdictions where required. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of data protection and AI use within Keywords Studios' operations and offers flexibility to work remotely from the UK or EU while collaborating globally.

Requirements

Experience
- At least 7 years in privacy management with demonstrated progression
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience liaising with C-Level stakeholders and working on cross-functional projects
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills for junior team members
- Strong delivery focus with ability to make risk-based decisions efficiently
- Extensive knowledge of GDPR and other global privacy regulations
- Developing knowledge of the EU AI Act and relevant global AI regulations
- Technical understanding of AI systems, including LLMs, and associated risks
- Willingness to travel if required

- Adaptable and quick learner of multiple policies and processes

Qualifications
- IAPP certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, and AIGP are a bonus
